A little help here... we're are utterly confused -_-
I got an answer this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your Workings are correct
60 is the required answer
Merci Beaucoup!!!!!!!!! (French for THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!) :)
Wait, so 60 is wronge?
The diagram has a parallelogram and a triangle. We find the area of the parallelogram and the triangle and add them to get the total area. Area of parallelogram = Base x Height Area of triangle = (Base x Height) / 2 Here the base of the parallelogram is 10 and height is 6. So: Area of Parallelogram = 10 * 6 = 60 And the base of the triangle is 12 and the height is also 6. So: Area of triangle = (12 * 6) / 2 = 72 / 2 = 36 Total area then equals 60 + 36 = 96 m^2 @KatieMoFo
Yes 60 is wrong.
@johnweldon1993 60 or 96??
@KatieMoFo 96 look at my solution
Get it?
Your's does look quite promising.
Yes, I think I have it! Merci beaucoup!
