We are pretty possitive these are correct. Just making sure :) For fan && medal ^_^
@genius12 @Ajk For medal?? Check me plz? lol
180 is correct
area = 1/2 * d1* d2 = 1/2 * 12 * 15 = 90
for number two I got 90? I just did (1/2)*(7.5)*(6) which came out to 22.5, then multiplied by 4 to get 90. Haven't looked at the other two yet.
I like 22 for the last question
a parallogram if its diagonals perpendiccular each other, it can be a rhombus. so we can use the formula the area of a rhombus = 1/2 * d1 * d2
90 makes since. I gotch now. I never figure it to the end, I just find a number and stop. But you gotta divide by 2. I think I've reallly got it! :)
and i'm liking 22.5 for answer 1.
@Ajk thank you thank you thank you!!!
np. I tutor at my school but usually don't get geometry questions, so it is nice to brush up on it here.
well the area of a trapezoid can be found by using the formula ((base1 + base2)/2) times height so 1 ((8 + 1)/2) times 5 is 9/2 times 5 45 / 2 is indeed 22.5 for 3 166.5 = ((15 + b2)/2) times 9 so 166.5 divided by 9 is 18.5 18.5 = ((15 + b2)/2) 18.5 times 2 is 37 = 15 + b2 subtract 15 from both 22 = base 2 now check 166.5 = ((22 + 15)/2) times 9 166.5 = 37/2 times 9 166.5 = 333/2 333/2 is indeed 166.5 so base 2 is 22 good job :)
kind of late sorry x)
Thank you!! :D
