what are you being asked to do? it is already in scientific notation.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

are you being asked to simplify it? like (-3.2 x 10^3)(2 x10^2) -3200 times 200? so then that equals -640000 which in scientific notation would be -6.4 x 10^5 is that what you're asking?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[(-3.2 \times 10^3)(2 \times10^2)\\=-3.2\times2\times10^{3+2}\]
