The diagram below shows a quarter of each of 2 circles both having point C as their center. Point B lies on AC and point D lies on CE. The lenght of BC is 5 inches and the lenght of AB is 3 inches. What is the area, in square inches, of the shaded portion?

I can't tell where A, B, C are. Try making a picture in link Paint or some other tool like photoshop or whatever you have. Then upload the picture on to tinypic and put the link on here? Or make the drawing clearer.
