How do you calculate the area and the resistivity given that the resistance is 5 ohms and the length is 100m?

where rho is the resistivity @RnR but, for the A which is the area? I just have the length of the meter stick which is a 100 meters. Do I have to think that it is a cylinder instead? that way I could think that the Area is just piR(squared)

You dont have R either. So i dont think that would help.

It seems you need the are of the cross section... You have three variables but only two equations... you need more information.
