What is the y-intercept? 11y=8x-12 now, you're supposed to divide each side by 11 right? so that would give me y=8/11 - 12/11 and 8/11 can't be the slope, so can someone explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Y can't it be? seems correct to me. but the y intercept would be -12/11

Wow I feel really stupid haha okay. So it was right, but I was writing down 8/11 as the y-intercept.. Thank you!

to find y intercept put x =0
