Inequality- tell me what I'm doing wrong? -6u+3>-33 so I subtract each side by 3. so the problem turns into -6u>30 Then I divide each side by -6 So, 30 divide by -6 = -5. The answer I get is u<-5
right so -6u > -36 now when dividing ***always remember to switch the direction of the sign when dividing or multiplying by a negative number***** so -6u > -36 --- ---- -6 -6 u < 6 remember the sign direction switch :)
I agree with @johnweldon1993 good job
what is -33 - 3?...its - 36 right? not -30 :) a negative...minus another negative....would be a bigger negative right?
