I need to make a lesson plan please help with this question..
carmen has 8 skirts and 7 blouses. show how the concept of cartesian product can be used to determine how many different outfits she has

8 * 7 = 56

So she has 56 different types of combinations to wear with these 8 skirts and 7 blouses. The rule is called counting principle. Not very sure about the name though but it is something like that, or similar to it.
