How do I make an internal MLA citation if my citation is a website?
If there is a page number, paragraph number, section or chapter, this should be included in your parenthetical. Do not assign these numbers if they do not exist, only include the author's name or title i the citation. Do not use '.com" inside the parenthetical. For instance, if you were to quote what I just wrote the parenthetical would be (Reel). But, if you did not know my name, it would be (Openstudy). think I am right; I hope this helps.
I do not think there is such thing as an informal MLA citation format. MLA citation is formal. You might be referring to an information citation in general.
go to http://citationmachine.net/index2.php ( son of a citation) My librarian showed me the site and i've used it ever since. You just have to know the name of the article and a few other things. if some of the info it is asking for you is not available in your webpage, just don't include it and the site will make it right.
