Find the solution to the system of equations. x - 4y - 2z = 1 x + 5y + 2z = -1 y + 3z = 10

plug it into your graphing calculator!

i left it in my locker or i would. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=1 y=-2 z=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set y=10-3z and plug in

Rearrange the equation on the bottom first to get y in terms of z. Then substitute this into another equation so it has just x and z terms in it. Then rearrange this to get x in terms of z. Substitute both y and x in the remaining equation to get an equation in terms of z only. Then you can solve this and put your answer back in to solve for x and y.
