OpenStudy (anonymous):

Transcription, translation, mRNA splicing, mRNA processing? im confused as to which process does what, the order it happens, and where each occurs in a cell.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

transcription -> DNA to mRNA mRNA splicing-> introns removed from exons (only in eukaryotes) mRNA processing -> Poly A tail, and 7-methylguanosine cap (only eukaryotes) Translation-> mRNA to Protein

OpenStudy (aaronq):

All but translation occur in the nucleus, translation occurs on the rough ER and the cytoplasm.

@aaronq is right i can add some medical facts about spliceosomes also a i can tell you about Enhancers and regulation of gene expression but i dont think that is what you want so i ll just let it there.
