find the general term A(n) for the geometric sequence a(1)=-6 and a(2)=30

well if it goes from 1 to 2...making it go from -6 to 30....then what it multiplies by is -5 right? -6 times -5 is 30 that is from 1...to 2 so the general term would be -5....i believe...anyone correct me if I am wrong
