Helpppp please Metall!! 2. In triangle ABC, A is a right angle, and mB = 45°. Find BC. If your answer is not an integer, leave it in simplest radical form. The diagram is not drawn to scale. (1 point)

use a trig function.

whats that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin 45 = \frac{ 12 }{ BC }\]

\[12\sqrt{2}\]

If you have that right angle shown, and you are given angle B is 45 degrees, then that also means angle C is 45 degrees. If you have a 45-45-90 triangle, then the ratio of the base to the height = 1, right? So if we know CA is 12, then BA also must be 12, so then you can just use pythag theorem to get the hyp.

\[\Large BC = 12\sqrt{2}\] is correct
