Can someone email me the e-book C# for Dummies?
Recommend me a better book if you can.
C# 2005 C# 2010 C# 2008 C# 5.0 which one?
Umm,I am using Visual Studio 2012.
Can you guys recommend me a better book?
i recommend C++ primer plus. i have a paperback copy on my bookshelf. it's geared more for if you have programmed before (helpful if you've programmed in an OOP language, too)
Ah.No Not C++
woops yeah just noticed that's C# its like 2 am lol im tired O_O
why not read about C# online?
need homework problems?
@funinabox Get some sleep @wio I was doing this C# for Sharp kids but i really need to get a complete book.
Are you new to programming?
Sorta Yes.
eh i can sleep when im dead. too much work, too little time.
ah I see.
@funinabox Haha,Go get back on to work then ;)
When you already are familiar with programming, you already know what to look for when learning a new language.
control flow, loops, custom functions, IO, etc.
@wio Just consider me as a new programmer who doesn't know a single thing and he wants to start :p
Why did you pick C# if I might ask?
Well i had a choice b/w C# and JAVA and I decided to pick C# although both of them are derived by C++ but C# is much better than Java.
Both of them are similiar to each other too just the syntax is diff so i can programme on Java later if i want to.
Honestly I can't remember what it was like when I couldn't program so in that sense I can't help.
But don't worry too much about what book you get. Just find challenging programs.
problems^
for practice. good luck. Use CMPS section of open study when you got questions. I'd all ears.
