Question

I need some help with an English Project :) If someone could answer these questions for me would be great!
◦What do you consider to be the three most important elements of a successful newspaper article? Please explain your three choices.

◦If you could read only one section of your local newspaper each day, which section would it be (front page, life/times, sports, local news, etc.)?

◦How important are images/graphics to the overall appeal of a newspaper? Can a newspaper be successful without images/graphics to support the news articles?

Clarity.
Accuracy.
Balance.

Clarity: should be written in terms as simple as possible, although obviously, some things are never going to be simple, like nuclear power and economic collapses.

Accuracy: Any newspaper worth the purchase price goes to great lengths to verify the accuracy of what it prints. Dishonest reporters have been very publicly fired.

Balance: Any article printed should contain both (or all) points of view, should include both the pros and the cons.

2) The second one is your opinion...but I would chose local news that way I know what's going on in my town.

3) I think newspapers should have images to keep people interested in the article and I think the newspaper would be sucessful just not as well as when it has images, because people won't be able to see what they are reading about they would have to imagine what they are reading about!
