People built new streets in Boston in the 1800s. Most people moving into Boston were Irish. Boston's Public Garden increased in size.

with the same map, The lighter lines extending to the edges of the map indicate city development planned for 1814 new streets built by 1880 shipyards built by 1880 Boston in 1814
