you find a number that multiplys to -30 and adds to 29.. 30 and -1 (i got 30 from multiplying 6 and 5) after u got those 2 numbers you write it our like this 6x^2+30x-1x-5 then you put parenthesis around 6x^2+30x and 1x-5. the u find the gcf of them 6x(x+5) -1(x+5) since you have two x+5 cross one out (6x-1)(x+5) is ur answer
