Hippocrates was the father of medicine.

He created the idea of the Four Humors:

1. Blood
2. Yellow Bile
3. Black Bile
4. Phlegm

He said that humans are supposed to have an EQUAL amount of all four humors.

He also said that if anyone ever had too much, or too little, of one of those four humors,
then they would get sick, either mentally or physically.

Here's a BIG FACT:
Hippocrates believed that people who had too much YELLOW BILE were more irritable, got angry very easily, and had a short temper.
