Easy!! The total circuit resistance is 6½ ohms. If a second 6 ½-ohm resistor is placed in parallel with the first, the total circuit resistance. It would remain the same or increase right? I know it would not decrease. I think remaining constant is the answer.

Well maybe it would be decrease since it refers to resistance and not current. So the resistance would decrease while the current increases. Nevermind, I got it!

the resistance decreases and current increases. Resistance becomes half of 6.5
