Ok well reasons that the atomic bombs were dropped on japan was because they attacked pearl harbor that was a form of payback, also we wanted japan to stop fighting with us so it was also a way to make them back down and out of the war. we were also in a race to see who could get the first atomic bomb back then so we were really eager to try it out on real people.
