reasons the atomic bomb shouldn't have been dropped it was very inhumane and cruel but Japan had "deserved" what they got, they shouldn't have bombed pearl harbor because we had a death sentence out for them because of that.

The reason that the bomb was dropped on Japan was because President Truman thought it was the best to get Japan to surrender. Japan was have given two different chances to surrender. See but the just ignored them and went on with what they were doing. So bombing both Hiroshima and Nagasaki finally got them to surrender. Another reason was because it saved the American lives and to sped up the end of the war. With Japan surrendering, it saved 100,000 American Soldiers lives and 1,000,000 Japanese lives.

It shouldn’t have happened because it killed lots of innocent people. When the Japanese had got bombed, they had finally noticed that we were serious the first two times about surrendering. They had made sure that we had the upper hand during WW2. Truman thought it would end the war a lot faster. Of course they did, but under one condition. The condition was that their Emperor got to keep his thrown.
