Candid Shots= Photo is taken without the knowledge of the subject.
like the ones taken in a stadium by the spectators.
Posed Shots= The subject has the knowledge that photo is being taken.
like family photos at a party.

Candid Photography:
Advantage:
1) Some people get conscious when they see camera, a good photo might come if it's taken candidly.

Disadvantage:
1) People are unaware when their photo is clicked. Sometimes the photos can show people in awkward poses.
