use d/v where d is distance travelled and v is speed...28/4=7 hour

I think you need to understand the math logic of proportion here. Let me give you an analogy 1 apples cost $1 4 apples would cost $1 x 4 = $4 This shows that the cost of apple is directly proportional to the number of apples :)
