What does revolution mean to you? It is for a survey. I need at least 5 people to answer ASAP please!
Interesting question. Revolution can mean a lot of things, but if you're talking in general revolution just means a total change. The Science Revolution changed the entire world (mostly for the better) by simply saying "perhaps we should get answers about the world by OBSERVING the world?" The French Revolution is when the proletariat killed the French throne and in turn changed the entire government of the nation. The American Revolutionary War (Or the American War/American Rebellion if you're in the UK) was when the colonies declared their independence from what was at that time one of the largest powers, and changed the entire government of the colonies by forcing us to govern ourselves. So.. again, revolution is simply "total change".
Thank you @Veritas!
I think that Revolution is just a change for the ideals of the people. Many times Revolutions in Europe ended horribly, but at the present time its what the populous wanted. It can either be a good or a bad thing. Depending all on who's power hungry hands it is left up to. Over all it is just political reform or change. Change in a way that is earned.
