Construct a cubic polynomial with real coefficients, one of whose zeros is 6 + i, and passing through the point (-1,20).
since 6+i is a root, then so must 6-i be a root also (complex roots come in conjugate pairs...)
it means when x=-1, y=20....
you need an equation of the form y=(x-k)(x-6-i)(x-6+i), multiply this out, replace x, y with -1 and 20 and solve for k.
k= -7/5?
