Who were Sacco and Vanzetti?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sacco and Vanzetti were two Italian immigrants that were executed for killing men in a robbery. They were left-wing radicals that were opposed to the first World War. Their trial may not have been held fairly because of Americans' negative view of radical immigrants. They were prejudiced because of their Italian nationality and their radical beliefs.
