you just have to multiply the bracket by \[5x^2\]

when you multiply
\[x^2*x =x^3 \]
or when you multiply
\[x^4*x^4 =x^8\]
you are just doing addition of their power
\[x^4+x^4=x ^{4+4}=x^8\]
