I have spilled 200cm^3 of vegetable oil on my kitchen floor. The resulting oil slick can be modeled as a cylinder with a very small height; the height is decreasing at a rate of 1/1000pi cm/sec and the radius is currently 50 cm. How quickly is the radius of the oil slick increasing in cm/sec?

you did! aww

\[{dh\over dt}=-{1\over1000\pi}\text{cm/s}\] is that it?

Thanks for your help, but I dont think the question is finished. Your solution is a part of the answer based on what a friend on mine did. think the final solution (50)^2/1000(200pi)

o'course. you want the complete answer here or learn how to :) ?

since I didnt see the steps you take to get you to the partial answer you provided I would probably not be able to find the final solution. Thanks anyway.
