OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is all in html code. If you redo this so that it can be seen it would be great.

OpenStudy (evonhowell):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still can see it........ :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still no for me too

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

You have to have finale or a similar music writing software to open it. This is definitely a good start to writing music. When you start adding more instruments and different keys, key changes, and time signatures it's gets a little more complicated. This melody isn't as consistent as I would have written it but as you bring in other parts you are able to modify the melody to what sounds pleasing to the ear. Good job. keep it up. What music class are you in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awww...i want to hear it... tanner do you have a way we can all view it?

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

yeah, just give me a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tht was good, just the pauses threw me off. :) thank u tanner.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it was the pauses thats what it was if it just kept going it would be great :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Below I've attached a chart of common Chord progressions. I II iii IV V vi vii represent the triads in each key. Uppercase is major and lower case is minor. If you follow these guidelines, building a melody will become much easier. Just for future reference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhhhh I the bein sick. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey tanner i dont know if you can help me with something since your good with music.

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

I can sure try. What is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want to learn how to read the note... my brother knows but he doesnt know how to teach it to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*notes

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Do you play an instrument?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i play a little piano but not much

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

how do you play piano if you can't read music?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just watch videos and watch were their fingers go and my piano also shows you were the fingers go the keyboard lights up :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

oh, ok. well as long as you know where the notes are on the piano, I would say the easiest way to learn would be to play simple melodies. but don't play a song more than a few times. After that, it just becomes memory and you don't actually learn to read the music.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh u mean treble cleft? I kinda learned tht. in class. oh I hav one of those too Joanna. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok i have an electric piano i got years ago o learn but i got so bord of the teacher i didnt go anymore. i can play easy songs but when they give me a notes page i have no idea what im suppose to play i just see notes and dont understand.

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Yeah, just take it slowly at first. It's not easy but the easiest way to learn is through an instrument. If you want to learn to compose I would suggest using some music writing software. That should also help in your effort to learn to read music.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok then thanks tanner lol im always drawing the music notes and my friend ask me do you know what music your making and im like no and there like oh ok cuz i dont understand what kinda music you were making lol the notes look so beautiful.. my church has some on the wall i feel like it means something but i dont understand them so idk if it does mean somethin
