Using complete sentences, explain how to graph y = one halfx - 3 using the slope-intercept method. Do not use google.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation of a line is y=mx+b where m= slope and b= y-intercept For your equation m=0.5 and b=-3 So at x=0 on the y-axis you should plot -3 and then with every x after that go up by 0.5 so at x=1 y=-2.5, etc..
