Find the area of the figure.
guess it didnt post, sorry.
Answer choices?
1st of all: you can divide the figure into two and you get to trapezoids....
The trapezoids is where i got stumped. I cut it in half at the base of the angled edges and made a trapezoid and rectangle.
cut it vertically through the line x=6 and see what you get
so do you get what i am saying??
Yea
do you know the formula for finding the area of a trapezoid???
Not anymore...bad memory mixed with learning disorder for math and science
ok...so this is it... \[A = \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }(a + b)h\] A=Area of the trapezoid a=the length of one of the parallel sides b=the length of the other parallel side h=height of the trapezoid
so can you carry on from there??
hmm, im very confused by the problem as a whole lol
ok.....you can choose to divide the shape into other shapes like rectangles and triangles... then you can find the area of all that and add them....
do you get it???
Kind of. lol
Is the answer D? 30.6?
the answer is B...
are you able to do it??
