It could be a feature that would be implemented in the future if the software developers or coders can figure a way to move the account content to a main account without altering the question posts and replies, or figuring out how to move the account content to a main account and changing the posting username to, "DISABLED." I believe the latter avenue would fit the purpose of terminating an account because the account user might not want their username all over the site for privacy reasons or related.
