What did you do with your time off?
-Wanted to take a break ex: in order for you to be more focused when you begin college
-Wanted to prepare yourself financially for college ex: save money, etc
-Wanted to know what you wanted to study before entering college ex: have a better idea before jumping into studies

u can say dat u were not very focused and didnt have interest either bt later u felt the need and came up with idea of studying ur chosen subject so  now u wanna study dat
