I'm almost certain the answer you are looking for is "proteins."
Yeah, I agree.
The best answer would be CATALYSTS.
But proteins help regulate a cell, and proteins are macroMOLECULES.
Enzymes are molecules and proteins. However, catalysts are molecules too and may also be proteins. Catalyst would be a better answer because they regulate cells and they also take on enzyme and protein functions.
