subtract -36 from -45
buht yuh would add 36&45
36 − z = -45 Subtract 36 on both sides 36 − z = -45 -36 -36 ------------- -z= -81 That negative in front of the z can also stand for -1 So divide both sides by -1 -z=-81 -z/-1=-81/-1 Simplify.. z=81
or you could dot rial and error if you cant remember the equations and keep subtracting #s from 36 till you got - 45. Just to make it easy.
