This is how I approach it: [NOTE: always read '/' as 'per']
3minutes/7blocks tells me that it takes 3 minutes to....let's say carry 7 blocks of...wood.
multipying that by 24 (blocks) tell me that you want to find the time it takes to carry 24 blocks of wood from A to B.
So, my final sentence would be
'If it takes 3 mins for Raj to carry 7 blocks of wood from point A to point B, find the time it takes to carry 24 blocks.'
