Stan was invited to a costume party, but did not have a costume to wear.  Fortunately, his friends gave him several costume pieces to choose from. There were four hats, six pairs of glasses, five ties, and two wigs.  Using one of each of the items, how many costumes can Stan possibly create?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the counting principle, which states take the number of possibilities and multiply them. 4 hats x 6 glasses x 5 ties x 2 wigs. 4x6x5x2= your answer.
