Hmm, so I'd first like to clear all the misconceptions. 

$\LaTeX$ is just a typesetting like docs. You can write in documents and do some simple stuff, but also make animations and graphs. It's nowadays used in different plugins such as this one on the site, called $\rm MathJax$.
