please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay So by seeing at the eggs you cant tell which one is boiled or which is not right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b and c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry dont have math classes anymore

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am pretty sure its b.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as the probability = (favourable events)/total events for first egg to be a boiled egg: number of favouble events are 4 as there are 4 boiled eggs and the total number of eggs are 4+8 = 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so probability in the first case that randy takes a boiled egg is 4/12

A box contains 3 cherry frozen treats and 2 grape frozen treats. Maggie takes a treat from the box without looking, gives it to her brother, and then selects another treat. What is the probability that her brother gets a grape treat and she gets a cherry treat? A. B. C. D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a 1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and in the problem given that he keeps it ( did he keep it aside or did he keep it inside the basket?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b 3/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c 6/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d 9/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean 3/10 is the probability
