OpenStudy (anonymous):

that dotted line should be like flat.. but i messed up :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use sohcahtoa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the 10 an angle measure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, it's the length of the base of the triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well then this is just a A^2+B^2=C^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on my paper 10 has a little cirlce on top.. so its a degree.. what ever the flutter that is :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry ur right lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. So do what HawkCrimson said. SOH-CAH-TOA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"flutter" lol.. thanks openstudy.. but yeah.. i just need the answer really.. so you dont have to show me how you solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming that the 10 degrees is outside of teh triangle then the interior angle will be 80 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol but we will cause u need to understand it for ur exams :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HawkCrimson Agreed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so tell me Soh or Cah or Toa? which do u think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheForbiddenFollower You do know what SOH-CA-TOA is right? I know tons of people who don't...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just know basics.. like they are what you put into the calculator when u need to find certain measurements for triangles.. but i forgot really which is for what.. so i guess im the tons of people who dont :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SOH- sin opposite/hypotenuse CAH- cos adjacent/hypotenuse TOA- tan opposite/adjecent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then which do we use?.. because we are trying to find the hypotenuse, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ill explain :D
