First of all, you'd get better service from OpenStudy if you posted questions in the appropriate subject. That way the math tutors, who can best help with math questions, can find them. That said, you tell what degree the polynomial is by looking at the x raised to the highest power. For example, x^2 is a second degree polynomial. If x^6 was the highest power, it would be a sixth degree polynomial. So in your case, what is the highest power you see x raised to?
