Give one real life example of each correlation: positive, negative, and no correlation.
What class is this based on?... also if this is a written response, it's best not to look on the internet because things like that are searched up by most teachers and easily flagged for cheating.
First lets undersatnd what the word correlation means. It means: Correlation refers to the degree of correspondence or relationship between two variables. Correlated variables tend to change together. If one variable gets larger, the other one systematically becomes either larger or smaller
Simplifying above response... Adding, subtracting, and unchanging.
In layman's terms: a something increases becuase of something else, or something decreases beacuse of somehting else.
so... what do you guise think the answer is? I'm not sure:P
Now a classic example of a positive correlation can be seen, in the number of icreams sales in the summer. When the tempertature goes up, icream sales go up.
For a negative correlation: Think of temperature again, As the termrapture goes down, sales of hot choclate go up. Notice the up and down kind of theme here
Now can you guess what no correlation is all about?
@christianfilms11
Again in terms of this temperature
>_< u dont get it do you?
