How to calculate the cohesive energy and the dissociation energy ?

Cohesive energy of a solid is the energy required to break the atoms of the solid into isolated atomic species which is given by \[E(cohesion)= E(solid)-\sum_{0}^{A} E(isolated)\]

and dissociation energy is the energy required to break the compound in its elementary composition
