why does my nail get black, if i don't touch hurt

It is black because it may be bruised. Bruising occurs when blood vessels rupture and the blood gets into the adjacent tissues. Hence, the color black, or blue. On the other hand, if it is black, then it could also be black nail polish. The pain could be in part to an allergic reaction or irritation. Maybe you should use nail polish remover to remove it to prevent further damage to your finger. If it is not bruising or nail polish, it may be some infection of some sort.
