@InYourHead i still can't seem to figure this one out =o
"Concentrative meditation" is where we sit or lie very still, and we concentrate on just one very specific thing. It can be anything. Like the sound of our own breathing, or the wind chimes hanging from our balcony. Anything. We can also chant a sort of "mantra," either out loud, or in our heads. A mantra can be a single word, sound, or a group of words and sounds. For example... "Oooooommmmmm........" ~~~~~~~~~~~ Concentrative meditation lowers our blood pressure, while we're doing it. And if we practice it for many, many years, it can even lower our blood pressure permanently. Not only does it help adolescents and adults, but I do believe that Tibetan monks also use this technique, their whole lives.
ooh ok gotcha that makes alot more sense now =) thank-you =)
You're welcome.
