Points A and B have coordinates (−1, 2, 5) and (2, −2, 11) respectively. The plane p passes through B and is perpendicular to AB. (i) Find an equation of p, giving your answer in the form ax + by + cz = d. (ii) Find the acute angle between p and the y-axis.
what do we know about how a plane is constructed?
given a point (xo,yo,zo) , and a vector <a,b,c> the equation of a plane can be constructed as: a(x-xo)+b(y-yo)+c(z-zo) = 0
the equation of plane is 3x-4y+6z=80
that looks good to me so far
notice that its asking for an angle between 2 vectors in the next problem <0,1,0> and <3,-4, 6>
<010> how did u get this
the y axis is equivalent to <0,1,0>
can u explain it to me step by step please
