Can someone explain what weak neutral current is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Weak neutral current interactions are one of the ways in which subatomic particles can interact by means of the weak force. These interactions are mediated by the Z boson.((:

just like you have electric current due to flow of e- -> strong electromagnetic energy, you have weak nuclear forces mediated by Z bosons. A flow/exchange of these bosons constitutes what they call as Weak current.
