In some medieval art, children were painted to resemble small adults, but in Renaissance art the figures look lifelike because artists studied anatomy.

Well I do know that Renaissance artists did study anatomy and did try to make their paintings more realistic... and I do believe that medieval art had adultish features to them... So im going to go ahead and say that you're correct.
