If f(x)=cos^3(4x), then f'(x)= The answer is -3cos^2(4x)sin(4x), right?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're forgetting about deriving the inner-most piece 4x to get 4

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you multiply this by what you got so the answer should be -12cos^2(4x)*sin(4x)
