what is the cut off voltage of a zinc-air battery cell and what it means? what is the capacity of a zinc-air battery cell and Li-ion battery cell and what it means? what is the internal resistance of a zinc-air battery cell and Li-ion battery cell and what it means? please help...
I'll help with the terms. Cut-off voltage is the lowest voltage which will give a usable current. The voltage of batteries decreases with use and falls off differently for each type of battery. Some batteries voltage changes relatively slowly with use while some decrease steadily with use. Capacity is the ability of the battery to provide a usable current over time given in ampere-hours. 10 amp-hour battery will produce 1 amp over 10 hours or 0.5 amp over 20 hrs ie the product of the current and the time it flows is a constant at least within a range of currents. If the current gets too high the time will shorten more than expected. The amp-hr rating is usually specified for a given current only. Internal resistance- is the electrical resistance of the conductors, connections and electrolyte contained in the battery. It is different for each type of battery and is usually of the order of a fraction of an ohm to a few ohms. Low internal resistance batteries are good for high current applications
thanks a lot
